Designation – REBAR CHECKER

Key Responsibilities:

• Well known about all types of concrete structure.
• Ensure detailing complies with relevant codes and standards such as ACI and Canadian.
• Expertise in shop drawings preparation for all kinds of concrete structures like residential buildings, commercial buildings, bridges, culverts and circular elements.
• Good technical communication Skills.
• Expertise knowledge to find out the conflicts from the contract drawings and mail communication and prepare the RFI for the missing information.
• Ensure the shop drawings quality and on time submission.
• Incorporate client-specific requirements into the detailing process.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to clarify project details.
• Resolve discrepancies between design documents and detailing requirements.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, schedules, and revisions.
• Prepare revision logs and check the shop drawings accordingly.
• Resolve discrepancies in project plans or specifications.
• Take responsibility to submit quality shop drawings.
• Guide the juniors to present error free drawings produce.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience:

• Overall Experience 5 to 7 years.
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in Detailing checker.
• Knowledge of rebar detailing standards and codes (ACI and Canadian).

Skills:

• Proficiency in rebar detailing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rebar CAD).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
