Job Description – Legal Advisor (Real Estate)Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Advisor with expertise in real estate laws and property-related transactions. The incumbent will be responsible for providing professional legal guidance, ensuring statutory compliance, managing property documentation, and safeguarding the organization’s legal interests in all real estate matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support on property acquisitions, sales, leasing, development, and joint ventures.
  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, sale deeds, lease deeds, MoUs, and related legal documents.
  • Conduct due diligence of property documents to ensure clear titles and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Represent the organization in legal disputes, arbitration, and litigation relating to real estate.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements including RERA, municipal regulations, stamp duty, registration, and land acquisition laws.
  • Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external legal counsels as required.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization’s interests in property transactions.
  • Keep management informed on legislative changes and regulatory updates impacting the real estate sector.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university; Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) preferred.
  • 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in real estate law, preferably with exposure to large-scale property transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of RERA, land acquisition procedures, registration processes, and municipal laws.
