React Tech Lead

As a talented Web UI Engineer with Javascript expertise, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, and Software Engineers to create user-centric designs and requirements. Your key responsibilities include: - Validating the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs - Designing and building software applications to function across multiple platforms - Following Clean coding principles and Test-driven development - Building reusable code and libraries for future use - Optimizing applications for quality, reliability, and scalability - Conducting thorough testing of user interfaces in multiple platforms - Incorporating Non-Functional requirements like Telemetry, Monitoring, Alerting & Logging into Software solutions - Designing applications with an API-first approach model - Leveraging JPMC Strategic Tool Chain in development and delivery Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in computer science or information technology - Minimum of 3 years working as a professional UI developer - Strong understanding of front-end coding and development technologies Must Haves: - Proficiency in Javascript, HTML, CSS - Expert knowledge in ReactJs, Redux, React hooks - Proficiency using GIT for source control - Practice of Clean code principles and TDD Good to have: - Familiarity with Electron and Angular - Full stack development with Node/.NET/Java - Familiarity with working in event-driven environments - Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and their solutions - Good understanding of Typescript - Experience working with Databases and ability to write SQL queries - Experience with messaging platforms About the Company: Virtusa values teamwork, quality of life, and professional and personal development.
