React Native Intern

Slayble is building the future of fashiona sustainable, subscription-based platform that allows users to wear a new outfit every day while solving the environmental crisis of fast fashion. We're at the pre-seed stage with a partially built tech stack and a validated business model, and we're looking for a skilled React Native Developer Intern to join our team and help build our user-facing mobile application.

What you'll do

• Own development of our consumer mobile app for both iOS and Android using React Native.
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive, performant mobile interfaces.
• Integrate the app with our backend services by building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and tech lead to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write robust, maintainable code, optimize performance, and add tests to ensure quality.
• Participate in code reviews and help shape a strong early-stage engineering culture.

Who you are

• Strong proficiency in React Native, with a portfolio of mobile apps you've built.
• Deep understanding of the React ecosystem, component lifecycle, and state management.
• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript skills and experience integrating with backend APIs.
• Great attention to detail and a passion for building intuitive, polished user experiences.
• A problem-solving mindset with a bias for actionable to ship quickly and iterate on feedback.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment.
• Bonus: experience with native development (Swift/Kotlin) or AI/ML integration.
