React Consultant

As a part-time consultant at Datastack Technologies, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expert-level React skills to work approximately 16-20 hours per week. With a minimum of 10 years of combined TypeScript and React experience, you will be responsible for architecting high-performance UIs, setting code quality standards, leveraging micro front-end strategies, and implementing robust tests using Jest and React Testing Library. Your main responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex React applications, driving the technical direction of front-end solutions, and integrating micro front-end or micro UI components that work seamlessly in larger ecosystems. You will establish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices tailored to React, conduct thorough code reviews, and build and maintain a robust React-focused test suite using Jest and React Testing Library. To be successful in this role, you should have 10+ years of combined professional experience in JavaScript and React, expert-level proficiency in React including Hooks, Context, and other advanced features, and demonstrated experience with micro front-end or micro UI architectures. Extensive hands-on experience with Jest and React Testing Library for automated testing is required, along with a proven ability to optimize React performance and comfortable using Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with TypeScript, Next.js, or other React-based frameworks, the ability to design robust React applications using the latest design patterns and best practices, and the capacity to mentor younger developers.
