As an R&D Engineer, you will lead the design and development of Network Management applications for Optical Transport and SDH/SONET networks. You will leverage data science expertiseincluding advanced modeling, feature engineering, and time-series database management along with proficiency in Python and GoLang, to build efficient, scalable solutions. This role also involves implementing CI/CD pipelines, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating across global teams in a fast-paced environment to drive innovation and excellence.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Analyze data and apply suitable models, including univariate and multivariate approaches.
- Be an expert in various learning models, including supervised, unsupervised, different neural network variations, and probabilistic and stochastic models for different data types.
- Specialize in feature engineering, understanding the capabilities and limitations of different models.
- Be proficient in Python, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, SciPy, Keras, TensorFlow, and GoLang.
- Differentiate between Proof-of-Concept and Deployment phases for small- and large-scale data, with familiarity in CI/CD pipelines.
- Adapt quickly to new technologies and tools, demonstrating a proven ability to learn and apply Optical Transport knowledge.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8 to 12 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow), GoLang, Java (Spring), and time-series databases.
- Knowledge of Optical Transport, Photonic/WDM, and SDH/SONET networks.
