R&D Senior Engineer

This Position reports to: R&D Manager LBL India

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to effective project outcomes in technology, software, product, and solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your knowledge by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

This role is contributing to our Electrification Business in Bengaluru, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design & Development Create innovative designs for new switchgear products and propose creative engineering solutions.
• Product Improvement Analyze and enhance existing products through detailed investigations and design optimization.
• Technical Skills Perform complex design calculations and ensure compliance with industry and business standards.
• Explore new product ideas, methods, and technologies, focusing on designing LV protection devices like MCBs and RCCBs.

Qualifications for the role:

• BE / B.Tech Me degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputed institution.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar engineering or product development role.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in handling multiple targets and deadlines in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Proficient in selecting and applying appropriate analytical methods to support data-driven decision-making.
• Skilled in competitive benchmarking and market analysis to support product management initiatives.
• Demonstrates a structured, results-oriented approach with focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
