R&D Engineer - New Product Development

Company - Safari Industries (Indian's no. 1 Luggage company) Department - Research and Development (Design and Development) Location - Mahindra SEZ, Jaipur Objective of Role - We are looking for a R&D Engineer - Product Development to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate should have hand-on experience in AutoCAD, Creo, or NX, with strong understand of product development processes and knowledge of BOM (bill of material). The role required working within cross functional team to drive New Product Development, while ensuring seamless coordination between Design, Development and Production team. Role & responsibilities - Product development and design activities, include concept validation, feasibility studies, prototyping - Work on AutoCAD, Cero, NX for 2D and 3D design modification, layout creation & product visualization - Assisting in creating and preparing BOM as per product design requirement - Work closely with team across R&D, Quality, SCM, Manufacturing and suppliers to execute NPD - Prepare and maintain engineering drawing, technical report and development record - Engage with suppliers for part development, feasibility assessment and sample validation. Preferred candidate profile Education - B.tech in Mechanical Engineering Experience - Proven exp. in NPD, R&D Engineer, Knowledge of BOM structure and product lifecycle management Technical skills - AutoCAD, Cero, NX for 2D and 3D modeling Basic knowledge - Manufacturing processes, material, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Interested candidate can drop their CV at nakul.sharma@safari.in or else call me at Nakul (HR team ) 9879948222
