Role Overview: Join Novasensa as an R&D Engineer Associate in the field of Lithium Battery & E-Waste Recycling, working at the on-site location in Delhi NCR. As part of the core R&D team, you will actively contribute to the development and optimization of cutting-edge hydrometallurgical processes for battery and e-waste recycling. Your work will involve designing and executing lab-scale experiments, recording and analyzing data for process improvement, developing SOPs, troubleshooting process issues, and supporting pilot-scale process transition. You will collaborate across teams for procurement, documentation, reporting, and vendor outreach. As an early-stage startup, you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and contribute to various aspects of the business, requiring adaptability, ownership, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute lab-scale experiments in leaching, solvent extraction, precipitation, and crystallization - Record and analyze experimental data for process improvement - Develop SOPs and troubleshoot process issues using scientific literature - Support pilot-scale process transition, including parameter definition and material handling - Collaborate across teams for procurement, documentation, reporting, and vendor outreach Qualifications Required: - B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Chemistry - 1-6 years of hands-on lab experience in process chemistry or metallurgical R&D - Proven execution of at least one multi-step wet chemistry project - High discipline in documentation, cleanliness, and lab safety Additional Company Details: Novasensa is a pioneering company focused on shaping the future of battery and e-waste recycling, with a mission to create scalable, zero-discharge processes that extract critical and strategic metals from India's waste streams.
