R&D Engineer

As an R&D Engineer at Ansys with a focus on meshing tools and workflows, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and automating tools to bridge the gap between design and reality. Your contributions will enable users to generate large-scale meshes with desired quality and type, streamlining the meshing process through automation. Your expertise in C/C++, GUI/Graphics development, and scripting languages like Python will be instrumental in advancing the state of the art in industrial mesh generation. Your responsibilities will include developing and extending code, creating scripting environments for testing workflows, and designing GUI/Graphics for tool demonstration. Working within a mixed-language codebase on Windows and Linux platforms, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals across all phases of the software development life cycle. Your Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math along with 1-3 years of commercial software development experience will provide a solid foundation for success in this role.
