Responsibilities

Learn about high-speed, large-scale networks and apply knowledge in real projects
Learn about software development processes and tools and demonstrate competence in live projects
Assists in the development and commercialization of software under the guidance & direction of a senior engineer
Become conversant in coding, integrated testing, and debugging
Ensures that commitments are agreed, reviewed, and met

Qualifications

Strong problem-solving skills
Good programming & debugging skills using C/C++ or Python
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms is a must
Knowledge of networking is a plus
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environment, knowledge of administration and advanced usage of such systems is a plus
Should be able to work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goals, with guidance
Must demonstrate an interest in technology
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to articulate and communicate technical concepts
An open mind and ready-to-learn attitude
Strong customer-service work ethic
