RCM Team Lead

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the full revenue cycle processincluding claims, payments, denials, and ARwhile leading a team, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements to optimize revenue collection.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Management

• Supervise and train RCM team
  
• Monitor performance and productivity
  
• Conduct team meetings and resolve issues
  

2. Revenue Cycle Operations

• Oversee claims, payment posting, denials, and AR follow-up
  
• Ensure accurate and timely processes
  
• Collaborate with coding and billing teams
  

3. Denial & AR Management

• Analyze denial trends and implement appeal strategies
  
• Reduce AR days and improve cash flow
  

4. Compliance & Regulation

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.
  
• Stay updated on policy changes and perform audits
  

5. Reporting & Process Improvement

• Generate reports and identify improvement areas
  
• Recommend strategies to senior management
  
• Maintain client communication and satisfaction
  

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in a related field (preferred)
  

Experience

• 35 years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare finance, or medical billing
  
• Proven experience in leading a team or managing revenue cycle processes
  

Analytical Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  
• In-depth knowledge of medical coding systems (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and insurance regulations
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and payers
  

Communication Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  

Other Skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
