Job Duties Vendor & Transport Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with transporters, vendors, and shipping partners. Oversee the movement of 20-40 ft. containers, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation. Shipping & Logistics Management: Monitor and track container shipments, ensuring on-time deliveries and proper handling. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and safety protocols. Cost Optimization & Negotiation: Negotiate freight rates and transport costs to ensure cost-effective solutions. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality transport services. Market Analysis & Pre-Built Relations: Utilise existing pre-built relationships to secure reliable transport solutions. Analyse market trends and competitor strategies to improve logistics operations. Operational & Documentation Compliance: Ensure all required transport and shipping documentation is completed accurately. Address operational challenges and resolve transport-related disputes efficiently. Reporting & Coordination: Maintained records of shipments, vendor contracts, and cost breakdowns. Provide periodic reports on transport efficiency and vendor performance.
