Ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements, especially for non-banking financial companies. Corporate Actions Managing corporate actions such as share issues, transfers, and changes in share capital. Handling dividend declarations and payments. Stakeholder Management Acting as a key liaison between the company, its board, shareholders, and regulatory bodies. Managing investor relations and handling investor grievances. Legal & Advisory Providing legal and secretarial advice to the board and senior management on a wide range of matters. Advising on corporate restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions. Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership & Analysis Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business goals. Partner with the CEO/MD and executive team in decision-making and strategic planning. Drive business performance through financial insights and data-driven decision-making. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency. Accounting & Financial Reporting Oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IND AS/IFRS/GAAP). Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Taxation & Compliance Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws (GST, Income Tax, TDS, etc.). Manage tax planning, transfer pricing, and tax assessments/disputes. Ensure regulatory compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, and other applicable laws. Risk Management & Governance Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks. Establish strong internal controls, SOPs, and risk management frameworks. Serve as a key liaison to the Board, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Team Leadership Build, lead, and mentor the finance and accounts team. Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA in Finance from a reputed institute (CA preferred). 15+ years of progressive financial experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience in strategic finance, capital raising, and stakeholder management. Key Skills & Competencies Excellent leadership and communication skills.
