Rancher AWS Senior Engineer

As a Rancher AWS Sr. Engineer with 6-9 years of experience, your role will involve designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will be responsible for supporting container environments using Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes, as well as developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Harness. Deploying, maintaining, and managing applications on AWS to ensure high availability and performance will also be part of your key responsibilities. Additionally, you will implement security measures to protect cloud infrastructure and applications and troubleshoot and resolve any related issues. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using tools like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3. - Support container environments using Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes. - Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Harness. - Deploy, maintain, and manage applications on AWS for high availability and performance. - Implement security measures to protect cloud infrastructure and applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications. **Skills & Qualifications:** - Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo, and IAM. - Experience with Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and GitHub Actions. - Knowledge of cloud-native concepts like microservices, serverless functions, and containerization. - Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles and practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. - Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
