RAN Test Engineer Wireless

As a RAN Test Engineer at our company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our 5G RAN solutions. You should be a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in both manual and automation testing of gNodeB product code. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases for 5G gNodeB (RAN) features. You will need to have a strong understanding of 3GPP NR protocols, especially Layer 2/3 components, and experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. You will be responsible for performing end-to-end testing using commercial UEs to validate gNodeB functionality and user-plane performance. Additionally, you will conduct various tests such as mobility, throughput, handover, and interoperability testing with real UEs under different radio and network conditions. Analyzing logs, developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, executing regression tests, and collaborating closely with development teams to understand features and test requirements are also key aspects of your role. It would be beneficial if you have hands-on experience with O-RAN, vRAN, or container-based RAN deployments, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins and GitLab, knowledge of mobile network architecture and interfaces, and experience working in Agile/Scrum development models.
