Qualcomm Sensing Hub enables extremely low power context detection and awareness by fusing information from different sensors and radios. The role is an individual contributor as part of an international sensor test team. Daily tasks will include hands-on testing, verification, and calibration of embedded HW integrating sensors, verification and testing of algorithms fusing sensor and radio data, testing features and communication across devices and development and maintenance of automated test cases. The following defines the main responsibilities: Testing Qualcomm Sensing Hub features for Qualcomm products. Test planning, test case development and execution. This includes hands-on testing with various mobile/handheld products both in lab and in the field. Developing test automation modules for the overall sensor automation framework using C# and Python. Verification and calibration of sensors in embedded HW. Testing communication and information sharing between devices embedding Qualcomm Sensing Hub. Test case automation and maintenance. Triaging issues observed during testing and isolating them into different test framework components, SW modules in embedded target SW or HW itself. Driving the resolution of the observed issues across the sensor and other QCT technology and target teams. Supporting test, SW development and system teams in analysis and debugging of observed issues in embedded targets. Interacting in a global team environment with various test architecture, power, SW, system, test, and test framework teams. Desire to understand in detail the Qualcomm Sensing Hub related SW and HW architectures and embedded SW designs from HLOS all the way down to sensor driver level across various target devices. Skills/Experience A minimum of 1-4 years of Work experience with testing embedded systems and developing automated test cases / automation frameworks for them. Proficiency in C and/or C++. Prior experience with developing and/or debugging embedded code. Prior experience with Android application programming.
