RAN Architect

• Lead the end-to-end architectural design for RAN products and solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with market trends and customer demands.
• Drive the integration of AI/ML technologies into the RAN, specifically focusing on "AI for RAN" (using AI to optimize network performance, energy efficiency, and automation) and "AI on RAN" (enabling new AI services at the network edge).
• Define and evolve our Cloud RAN and vRAN architecture, leveraging cloud-native principles, containerization, and open interfaces (e.g., O-RAN).
• Act as a technical visionary, researching and recommending emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities. This includes staying abreast of industry alliances and standards bodies like the AI-RAN Alliance, O-RAN Alliance, and 3GPP.
• Partner with R&D, product management, and sales teams to capture functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into architectural specifications.
• Deep, hands-on experience with RAN technologies including 4G, 5G, and beyond.
• In-depth knowledge of Cloud RAN/vRAN architectures, cloud-native principles, and related technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, containers, microservices, OpenStack).

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong understanding of 3GPP standards (e.g., 38.101, 38.21x) and O-RAN Alliance specifications.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.
• Experience with data analytics platforms and tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Spark).
