Your role will involve engaging with customers, promoting handcrafted and ODOP (One District One Product) items, and ensuring a delightful shopping experience for all visitors — both domestic and international. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in a warm, courteous manner. Provide product information, promote artisan-made and ODOP products. Maintain updated knowledge of inventory, pricing, and product stories. Handle billing, packaging, and point-of-sale (POS) operations efficiently. Achieve individual and store sales targets. Coordinate with backend for stock management and restocking. Collect and share customer feedback to improve service and experience. Maintain cleanliness, display aesthetics, and product arrangement. We are seeking a creative and passionate Product Designer who can bridge traditional crafts with modern design sensibilities, making our products appealing to domestic and international markets. Role Overview The Product Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative handicraft-based products (gift items, lifestyle products, jewellery, textiles, home décor, etc.). The role requires a deep understanding of Rajasthan’s craft traditions, ODOP products, and consumer trends to create designs that are both market-ready and artisan-friendly . Key Responsibilities Research, conceptualize, and design new product lines blending traditional crafts with contemporary design trends . Collaborate with artisans, craftsmen, and suppliers to co-create designs aligned with ODOP products. Develop product prototypes, sketches, 3D models, and technical specifications . Work closely with the marketing and retail teams to design exclusive corporate gifts, ODOP catalogues, and product collections . Ensure sustainability, quality, and cost-effectiveness in product design. Provide creative direction for exhibitions, ODOP showcases, and catalogue shoots . Conduct market research to identify upcoming trends in handicrafts, jewellery, home décor, and lifestyle products. Document product stories for Rasayan magazine and digital promotion. Innovate packaging and branding concepts to enhance ODOP gift appeal. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s / Master’s in Product Design, Industrial Design, Craft Design, or related field . Strong portfolio of product design, preferably in crafts, lifestyle, jewellery, or home décor . Knowledge of materials, traditional techniques, and sustainable practices . Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Rhino, CorelDRAW, or similar). Excellent sketching, visualization, and prototyping skills.
