Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manager/ Sr. Manager Mechanical

Plan, execute, and monitor railway siding projects in compliance with Indian Railways

standards and regulatory requirements.

Liaise with railway authorities (Engineering, Operations, Safety, etc.) for approvals,

inspections, and certifications.

Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgetary control, and quality benchmarks.
Oversee contractor management, resource allocation, and site execution activities.
Prepare project progress reports, MIS, and escalation for bottlenecks.
Drive safety culture, ensure incident reporting, and compliance with OH&S objectives.
Implement ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001) in day-to-day project execution.
Ensure compliance with environmental obligations and promote pollution prevention

practices.

Monitor and optimize energy consumption during project execution, contributing to

energy performance objectives.

Foster a respectful and inclusive work environment, free from harassment and

discrimination.
