Evaluate cancer patients and determine appropriate radiation treatment plans.
Prescribe, plan, and supervise delivery of radiation therapy using advanced technologies (e.g., IMRT, IGRT, VMAT).Collaborate with surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists in a multidisciplinary team.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.Ensure accurate documentation of treatment, outcomes, and follow-up care.Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance (AERB norms).Guide and oversee medical physicists, radiation therapists, and technologists.Counsel patients and families regarding treatment expectations and outcomes.
Clinical expertise in radiation therapy planning and execution
Knowledge of latest radiotherapy techniques and machines (LINAC, brachytherapy, etc.)
Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills
Excellent patient communication and empathy
Team collaboration and leadership ability.
