However, candidates originally from Assam but currently working outside the state and looking to return will also be considered. Job Responsibilities: 1. Inventory & Stock Control Maintain and monitor accurate inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software. Ensure all stock movements- receipts, dispatches, transfers- are electronically documented in the system real-time. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts; match physical stock to digital records and thoroughly investigate and explain discrepancies. Prepare and maintain digital reconciliation, adjustment, audit, and damage reports. 2. Stock Damages & Prevention Inspect incoming/outgoing goods for damage; log all damage in the system and report immediately. Maintain digital records of all damaged stock and oversee appropriate procedures (returns, write-off, scrap, insurance, etc.). Use safe storage and handling best practices to reduce breakage and spoilage. 3. Order Processing & Dispatch Supervise and monitor timely, accurate order picking, packing, and shipping. Coordinate with sales, ops, and transport teams to plan and execute smooth stock movement and dispatch. 4. Warehouse & Delivery Operations Oversee coordination of all deliveries, including loading/unloading planning at the dock, bay, or warehouse. Work directly with transporters, drivers, and loading staff to ensure every inbound/outbound delivery is managed, all goods are properly checked, counted, and identified before entry or exit. Ensure system entry of all received/dispatched goods is done on arrival/departure, including barcode/serial/product code verification for full traceability. Monitor and control the complete inbound and outbound flow: from unloading/sorting, system entry, shelving, to picking and re-loading for dispatch. 5. Systems, Reporting & Administration Must be highly system- and computer-oriented: operate WMS/inventory software, Excel, or other ERP/stock management tools. Create and share regular computer-generated reports: stock availability, inventory change, damages, shrinkage, turnover, audit summaries. Uphold impeccable digital documentation standards—no manual/paper lags. 6. Staff Supervision & Teamwork Supervise warehouse team, assign daily tasks, check quality of system entries, review adherence to procedures. Coach team on digital handling, process flows, and delivery/stock protocols. 7. Continuous Improvement & Industry Fit Suggest improvements for warehouse operations, process digitization, and reporting standards.
