Role: Senior DevOps Engineer Location: Hybrid Job Type: Contractual Responsibilities: Design and implement cloud-based or on-premise server architectures that are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices to handle high traffic, ensuring system reliability and performance for a minimum of 10 million users. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient, automated software delivery, enabling rapid development cycles and minimizing deployment risks using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet to ensure consistency and repeatability across environments. Design infrastructure to effectively support video content storage, processing (e.g., transcoding), streaming, and delivery, ensuring optimal user experience even under high traffic loads. Continuously monitor system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and optimize server environments and applications to ensure seamless user experiences and uptime. Implement disaster recovery strategies, backup solutions, and security measures to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance. Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, security, and operations) to ensure alignment with system architecture and document DevOps processes for team knowledge sharing. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or related IT infrastructure roles. Expertise in designing cloud architectures that are scalable to handle large user bases, particularly those requiring video content management and delivery. Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises server management. Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar. In-depth experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar. Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration for efficient application deployment. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
