The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial processes and principles, experience in financial reporting, and the ability to analyse data for strategic insights. This role will support key functions such as accounts receivables, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and system improvements. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivables • Manage monthly billing cycles and customer invoicing • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the billing process • Handle client communication regarding collections • Address and resolve customer billing queries Financial Analysis • Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities • Prepare and present reports with actionable financial insights • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and other financial assessments General Ledger • Prepare and post journal vouchers accurately • Perform regular debtor and creditor reconciliations • Conduct daily bank reconciliations and ledger updates GST and TDS Compliance • Assist in the preparation of GST and TDS workings • Support the filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual returns • Address statutory matters and ensure timely compliance Tax Compliance • Ensure adherence to all relevant tax regulations • Visit GST and Income Tax offices when required Financial Systems • Maintain and enhance financial systems and reporting processes • Work primarily in Tally ERP; familiarity with Zoho Books is a plus Ad-hoc Projects • Contribute to special financial projects as needed Mandatory Qualification Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or related field Knowledge & Experience 25 years of experience in a finance-related role Solid understanding of core financial principles and practices Experience in the service industry preferred Familiarity with statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.) Proficient in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel Working knowledge of Zoho Books is an added advantage Skills Required Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage time and meet deadlines Strong documentation and reporting skills Key Competencies Self-motivated and able to work independently A collaborative team player Proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial discrepancies Strong organizational and multitasking skills Adaptability in handling varied financial tasks and ad-hoc requirements

This role is instrumental in ensuring operational accuracy, adherence to client-mandated standards, and delivery of background verification services within defined turnaround times (TAT). The Executive will be responsible for executing ground-level verification activitiescovering education, address, employment, reference checks, court record validation, drug testing coordination, and document verification. The role demands strong communication and vendor management skills, a high sense of accountability, and a commitment to quality. This is a target-based individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives in a performance-driven, process-oriented environment. Key Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Verification & Quality Execution: Conduct and complete background verification checks across education, employment, address, references, court records, and other mandated parameters. Validate the authenticity and integrity of information received through physical and telephonic verifications. 2. Vendor Interaction & Compliance: Coordinate and liaise with third-party vendors to execute checks effectively and efficiently. Ensure vendors adhere to TAT, quality parameters, and compliance guidelines. Address vendor non-performance or deviations to the Delivery Excellence Manager proactively. 3. Turnaround Time (TAT) & Target Management: Ensure timely completion of allocated cases in line with predefined TAT and accuracy benchmarks. Manage daily/weekly targets effectively without compromising on quality. 4. Documentation & Reporting: Accurately update system records with findings and observations from verification activities. Prepare concise and well-articulated reports ensuring clarity and correctness. Highlight inconsistencies, red flags, or escalations in a timely manner. 5. Client Compliance & Process Adherence: Ensure all activities align with client-specific mandates and industry standards. Maintain confidentiality and data integrity across all tasks. 6. Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and quality of delivery. Stay updated with evolving verification standards, tools, and techniques. Key Requirements: Graduate in any discipline. 03+ years of experience in background verification or similar field (Operations role preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage pressure in a high-volume, target-based environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools. Preferred Attributes: Previous experience in background screening or verification agencies or understanding of the field is an added advantage. Working knowledge of compliance requirements and data protection regulations. Vendor coordination experience with accountability on SLAs. Work Environment: Fast-paced, result-oriented environment. Frequent interaction with external stakeholders (vendors, labs, institutions). Individual performance is closely monitored and rewarded based on quality, compliance, and timeliness.
