Job Description

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fundamental and applied research in quantum computing with a focus on machine learning, optimization, simulation, and cryptography.
  • Identify and define research problems and objectives within the chosen domain, leveraging insights from classical and quantum computing literature.
  • Implement and optimize quantum algorithms using programming languages such as Qiskit, Cirq, D-Wave Ocean, Classiq or similar quantum development frameworks.
  • Optimize and fine-tune quantum algorithms to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Ideate and build intellectual property (IP) in area of quantum computing
  • Write whitepapers, blogs, research papers in area of quantum computing
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to identify industry-specific challenges that can be addressed using quantum computing technologies.
  • Apply quantum algorithms and computational models to solve complex problems in fields such as finance, healthcare, logistics, life sciences & healthcare etc.
  • Participate in UI design for the quantum-based solution
  • Create quantum-based cloud marketplace listings
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in quantum computing research and incorporate relevant techniques and methodologies into solution development.
  • Document technical specifications, methodologies, and best practices for quantum computing-driven industry solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams throughout the solution development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in quantum sciences, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum computing principles.
  • Experience with quantum programming languages and frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, D-Wave or similar.
  • Solid foundation and hands on experience in areas of machine learning and optimization domains
  • Good understanding of quantum computing driven machine learning and optimization
  • Proficiency in classical programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into efficient quantum computing solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Prior experience in developing software solutions for specific industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, logistics) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing concepts is desirable.
  • A passion for exploring new technologies and driving innovation in quantum computing.
