Hi all We are hiring Quantity Surveyor BE - Electrical /Mechanical 3-7 years of experience Job Summary: The Quantity Surveyor Electrical will manage the cost planning, tendering, and contract administration for electrical installations in construction projects. With a strong foundation in electrical engineering, the role involves preparing precise cost estimates, controlling budgets, and ensuring that all electrical systems meet industry standards and client specifications. Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for electrical installations. Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring accuracy from initial estimates to project completion. Tendering & Procurement: Assist in preparing tender documents specific to electrical works. Evaluate bids from electrical subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards. Contract Administration: Oversee the administration of contracts, managing changes and variations related to electrical works. Prepare interim and final accounts, ensuring financial compliance and transparency. Cost Control & Reporting: Monitor and control project expenditures for electrical components. Prepare regular reports and forecasts to highlight cost performance and potential risks. Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and design teams to align cost plans with technical specifications. Liaise with stakeholders to address queries and support value engineering initiatives. Risk Management & Compliance: Identify potential cost-related risks in electrical projects and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure that all electrical works adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Certifications or additional training in quantity surveying or construction management are a plus. Experience: Demonstrated experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on electrical systems in construction projects. Proven track record in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration within the electrical domain.
