Quantity surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor at our company, you will play a crucial role in the successful completion of projects by preparing quantifications of various items and tasks such as tiles, doors, windows, and RCC quantities. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with multiple departments including the drawing department, Kanix team, purchase team, and interior and site team to ensure accurate quantity checking and finalization. Additionally, you will be in charge of preparing project cost estimations based on initial drawings and creating Bills of Quantity for contractors' offers. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare quantifications of items and tasks for all projects - Coordinate with various departments for quantity checking and finalization - Prepare project cost estimations and Bills of Quantity - Create detailed estimations based on drawings and update ERP system - Review drawings and delegate work to Assistant Quantity Surveyors - Clarify queries with concerned departments - Carry out tender and material comparisons - Ensure revisions and updates are made in ERP - Conduct site visits as necessary - Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures - Provide accurate reports and Management Information System (MIS) to stakeholders within specified timelines Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field - Proven experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation - Proficiency in using ERP systems for project management - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Knowledge of construction industry practices and standards In addition to the challenging responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth, we offer the following benefits: - Food provided - Health insurance - Leave encashment - Life insurance - Provident Fund Please note that this is a full-time position that requires in-person work at our designated location.
