Quantity surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor, your role involves preparing quantification of items and tasks for all projects including tile, doors and windows, RCC quantity, etc. You will be responsible for coordinating with various departments such as the drawing department, Kanix team, purchase team, and interior and site team for quantity checking and finalization. Additionally, you will prepare project cost estimations based on initial drawings and create a Bill of Quantity for issuing contractors their offers. Key Responsibilities: - Create detailed estimations of items based on drawings and update the information in the ERP system. - Review drawings and assign tasks to Assistant Quantity Surveyors. - Clarify any queries with relevant departments. - Conduct tender and material comparisons as needed. - Ensure necessary revisions and updates are accurately reflected in the ERP system. - Conduct site visits as required. - Ensure all activities are in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. - Provide reports and Management Information System (MIS) to stakeholders within specified timelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. - Proven experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation. - Strong knowledge of construction materials and processes. - Proficiency in using ERP systems for project management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
