Quantity Surveyor

Roles & Responsibilities of QS at site:

1. Estimation of quantities as per approved drawings received.

2. Prepare Bar bending schedule as per GFC(Good For Construction).

3. Preparing Material Indents for various Client supplied materials as and when required.

4. During construction stage Execute Joint measurement with Contractors for various Civil & MEP Packages and cross check the measurements and certify the RA Bills as submitted by contractor. You shall strictly enforce and follow the procedure & sequence of recording measurements, submission of bills by contractor as envisage in the relevant conditions of contract. The status shall be recorded in every weekly progress review meeting.

5. Preparing valuations for the issue of payment certificates to all vendors.

6. Keep track of Reconciliation of Client issued materials like Cement, Reinforcement steel or any other material.

7. Preparing cost estimate for proposed variations and maintain variation tracker.

8. Preparing schedules of predicted monthly cash flows and submit to H.O.

9. Attending Weekly progress meetings on site , update the status and discuss about any concerns towards progress, delay log, Consultants deliverables

10. Preparing Weekly & Monthly project status reports and submit to Client H.O.
