Quantitative Trader

As a Quantitative Trader at 39k Group, you will be responsible for designing and driving trading strategies that are crucial to the core of the business. You will be at the forefront of markets, quantitative research, and technology, where you will generate ideas, test them in simulations, and implement them with the support of developers and researchers. Your decisions will have a direct impact on the firm's PnL. **Key Responsibilities:** - Generate trading hypotheses across spot, perpetuals, and futures markets. - Develop, backtest, and refine alpha signals and strategy logic using large-scale tick and order book data. - Collaborate with quantitative developers to implement strategies in ultra-low-latency production environments. - Monitor strategy performance and adjust parameters in real time based on market conditions. - Analyze execution quality, slippage, and queue positioning to optimize fills and PnL. - Stay informed about market microstructure changes, exchange mechanics, and competitive landscape. **Qualifications Required:** - 2-5 years of experience in trading, quant research, or systematic strategy. - Strong understanding of probability, statistics, and time-series analysis. - Proficiency in working with tick-level data and large datasets. - Knowledge of market microstructure, order books, and execution mechanics. - Hands-on experience with at least two of: Python, C++, or Rust. - Attention to detail with a systems-driven and outcome-focused mindset. If you have prior exposure to high-frequency or market making strategies, experience in trading crypto or FX markets, and the ability to formulate strategies under real-time constraints, it would be considered a bonus.
