You will collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other developers to implement and optimize quantitative models, develop tools for back testing and simulation, and build data pipelines for various datasets. Additionally, you will contribute to architectural decisions and ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of systems under production load. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain production-grade code for pricing, trading, and risk management systems. - Implement and optimize quantitative models in collaboration with researchers and portfolio managers. - Develop tools for back testing, simulation, and analysis of trading strategies. - Build and maintain data pipelines for market, fundamental, and alternative datasets. - Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews across the quant tech stack. - Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and performant under production load. Qualifications Required: - Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ (or another performant language like Java or Rust). - Experience with numerical computing libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, SciPy) and/or real-time systems. - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. - Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and development tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines). - Solid background in applied mathematics, statistics, or computational finance. - Familiarity with financial instruments (e.g., equities, options, futures, FX, fixed income). - Understanding of risk modeling, pricing, or trading strategy development is a plus. - Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field. In addition to technical skills, soft skills are also crucial for this role. You should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. Strong communication skills are necessary to explain complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Being self-driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment will be advantageous in this role.
