You have the opportunity to join the newly created pole of expertise within BNP Paribas CIB, focusing on front office risk management and P&L explain quantitative analysis. As part of the Functional Architecture team in Global Markets Quantitative Research, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Familiarize yourself with BNP Paribas's risk and pricing framework. - Collaborate with quants from other regions to develop analytics platforms for Global Markets, covering various aspects such as risk, pnl, xVA, margin calculations, and portfolio contingent topics. - Contribute to the long-term strategy for improving analytics and actively participate in its implementation. - Utilize your knowledge to train and mentor junior team members. - Collaborate closely with quantitative team management to execute tasks effectively. You are expected to possess the following qualifications and skills: - Hold a MSc to PhD degree in mathematics or engineering with strong analytical skills. - Have a technical background in mathematics, computer science, or finance. - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of at least one asset class, preferably multiple. - Possess extensive experience with object-oriented languages (C++, C#, Python) and participation in large-scale projects. - Be comfortable with large-scale libraries and working with different profiles such as quants, IT, MO, and Risk. - Ability to suggest new design patterns and architectures with a focus on clean and ordered code for industrialization. - Have a good understanding of data analysis techniques and technological ecosystem. Desirable skills and experience include participation in large-scale projects and working in a global setup.,
