The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Utilize various measuring tools and testing equipment to assess product quality.
Document inspection results and prepare reports on quality metrics and non-conformities.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Perform root cause analysis and support corrective action initiatives.
Maintain and update quality control documentation and procedures.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in quality inspection or a related role.
Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
Certification as a Quality Inspector or similar (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector).
