Designation -

Purpose of the Job:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented fresher to join our Quality Control team. This role involves inspecting and verifying the quality of incoming textile raw materials to ensure they meet required specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming textile materials for defects, specifications, and quality compliance.
Conduct physical tests such as GSM, colour fastness, shrinkage, thread count, etc., as per standard procedures.
Record inspection findings in incoming material quality reports (IMQR).
Coordinate with the purchase and warehouse teams for materials that are non-conforming or need rechecking.
Maintain proper sampling and storage of reference samples for traceability.
Ensure proper tagging, labelling, and segregation of accepted and rejected materials.
Follow SOPs and quality guidelines set by the organization.
Assist in audits and documentation requirements related to incoming QC.
