Job Description

Role Overview: As a Quality Inspector at our company, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Your main role will involve examining materials and products for defects, deviations, and adherence to specifications using various measuring tools and inspection equipment. Additionally, you will record inspection data, identify defects, collaborate with production teams for quality improvement, and ensure adherence to quality control procedures throughout the production process. Key Responsibilities: - Examine raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for defects, deviations, and compliance with specifications. - Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify product dimensions and quality. - Conduct visual and physical inspections to detect cosmetic and functional defects. - Record detailed data from inspections, including measurements, defects, and results. - Maintain accurate inspection records for audits and compliance reports. - Identify defects or deviations from product standards and specifications. - Notify production teams of defects and collaborate with them to correct quality issues. - Collaborate with management or engineers to initiate corrective actions and improvements. - Observe production processes to ensure quality control procedures are followed. - Perform regular inspections at different stages of production to prevent defects and non-conformities. - Assist in internal audits to ensure adherence to quality, health, and safety standards. - Ensure products meet company, industry, and regulatory standards. - Provide feedback on current QC processes and suggest improvements. - Train production staff on quality standards and correct procedures. - Ensure quality inspections are performed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. - Report any safety hazards or non-compliance during inspections and testing procedures. - Communicate inspection results and quality concerns with relevant stakeholders. Qualifications: - Education: Diploma or BE. - Experience: 2-3 years in quality control or manufacturing inspection preferred. - Skills: Proficiency with measuring tools, understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001), attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
