Job Summary The QC In-charge will take full responsibility for maintaining and ensuring product quality across all stages — raw material (metal, glass, paints), manufacturing, packaging, shipping and inventory. He will develop, implement and monitor QC procedures, and ensure damage-free packaging and transportation. The candidate must have hands-on experience with certification standards such as ISO, UL, SASO, CL and should ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain robust Quality Control procedures and standards across all processes — raw material inspection (metal, glass, paints), production, packaging, storage, shipping and inventory. Oversee and manage QC team (inspectors, quality staff), train and guide them to ensure consistent implementation of QC procedures.
Conduct regular inspections, audits and tests — at raw material receipt, during production, pre-packaging, pre-shipping and on finished goods — to detect defects, non-conformities or potential quality issues. Implement and enforce packaging and logistics process aimed at “damage-free packaging & transportation” — define packaging standards, supervise packing operations, ensure correct packing material and methods, and ensure secure handling & dispatch. (New requirement tailored for company)
Monitor inventory quality — both raw materials (metal, glass, paints) and finished/packed products — to ensure no deterioration, damage or quality deviation during storage. Collaborate across departments: production, procurement, warehouse, logistics/shipping to ensure quality standards are met at every stage, especially for packaging and shipping processes.
Maintain accurate records of all QC activities: inspection reports, test results, audit findings, non-conformities, corrective actions, packaging/shipping checks, damages. Identify root causes of quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, damages, returns, and rework.
Ensure compliance with relevant certification and regulatory standards (e.g. ISO, UL, SASO, CL), prepare for internal/external audits, and coordinate with certification agencies as needed (given candidate’s certification-agency experience). Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on quality metrics, packaging/transportation damage rates, audit findings, corrective actions, and improvement plans.
Train and sensitize all relevant staff (production, packing, logistics, warehouse) on quality expectations, correct handling/packaging methods, and importance of compliance. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance role — preferably in industries dealing with metal, glass, paints/coatings, or similar materials. (Your requirement: “Expertise in metal, glass & paints must for min 5 yrs”)

Understanding of logistics and shipping processes, and ability to coordinate QC + logistics to minimize damage and ensure safe delivery. Ability to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for QC, packaging, shipping, storage, inspection and audits.
