Geometric Tolerances: Adhering to specified tolerances for angles, shapes, and surface features. Surface Quality: Maintaining the desired surface finish, such as smoothness or roughness. Inspection Tools: Utilizing various measuring devices like calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to check for deviations. On-Machine Inspection: Employing probing systems that automatically measure and verify key features during the machining process, allowing for real-time adjustments. Quality Management System (QMS): Implementing a structured process to ensure consistent quality across all stages of production, from design to final inspection. Training and Skill: Providing adequate training to CNC operators and inspectors to ensure they are proficient in using quality control tools and procedures.
