Project Role Description :Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications. You will utilize your expertise to develop comprehensive testing strategies, applying quality processes and methodologies to enhance the overall application lifecycle. By focusing on key metrics, you will manage and assess the testing process, ensuring effective test execution and timely defect resolution, ultimately driving quality across the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be an SME.- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.- Analyze non-functional requirements and create performance test strategies and plans.- Develop and execute performance, load, stress, spike, and endurance test scripts.- Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or NeoLoad to simulate user activity.- Monitor and analyze performance metrics from APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic).- Identify system bottlenecks, root causes, and provide recommendations for performance improvements.- Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.- Design performance test data sets and manage performance test environments.- Generate detailed performance test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.- Automate performance testing as part of CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, GitLab, or other tools Professional & Technical

Skills:Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy.- Strong understanding of various performance testing tools and frameworks.- Experience in developing and implementing performance testing plans.- Ability to analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights.- Familiarity with application lifecycle management and quality assurance best practices.- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work independently and take ownership of performance test activities.- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.- 6+ years of experience in performance testing.- Strong hands-on experience with tools like:- Apache JMeter- HP LoadRunner / Micro Focus LoadRunner- Gatling, NeoLoad, or K6 (optional but valuable)- Solid understanding of performance testing concepts:response time, throughput, TPS, error rate, etc.- Experience with web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS), REST/SOAP APIs, databases (SQL), and system architecture.- Proficiency in analyzing logs and metrics using APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, New Relic).- Familiar with performance testing of web, mobile, and API-based applications.- Working knowledge of scripting (Java, Groovy, Python, etc.) for custom test logic.- Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Performance Testing Strategy.- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.- A 15 years full time education is required.Qualification
