QUALITY ENGINEER(Civil)

Duties and Responsibilities of QUALITY ENGINEER: 1. Detailed study of the specification of the project. 2. Prepare a checklist for various items to be executed. 3. Make quality checks on the material received at the site by taking the prescribed field and laboratory test. 4. Check the workmanship of all the items at every stage of the work. 5. Checking the quality of concrete by taking a cube test. 6. Control wastage of Materials. 7. Check the stacking and storage of materials in godown and stores of the site systematically. 8. Check buildings that are complete and ready for possession. 9. Finding solutions to practical problems faced during the execution of work for maintaining optimum quality. 10. Making of snag list before possession. 11. Tracking of snag list in coordination with Project manager.
