Conduct incoming inspection and testing of packaging materials (glass, PET, flexible films, corrugated boards).
Monitor inprocess and final packaging production processes to ensure compliance to quality standards.
Develop and maintain quality control procedures including acceptance sampling, SPC, disposal criteria.
Identify packaging defects or non-conformities; lead root-cause analysis (e.g., 8D, CAPA, FMEA).
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with production, suppliers, and logistics teams.
Collaborate with packaging design and production teams on validation trials (drop, compression, vibration, transit tests).
Maintain detailed documentation including test data, audit results, trend analysis, and quality performance metrics.
Train production and inspection teams on quality standards, SOPs, and inspection criteria.
Support supplier quality assessment and audits for packaging vendors.
