Quality Engineer (Machining)
Location: Ludhiana, Punjab
Salary: ₹25,000 to ₹30,000
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct incoming and in-process inspection of machined components.
Operate Profile Projector for dimensional verification.
Perform MSA (Measurement System Analysis) and Gage R&R studies.
Use precision measuring instruments and maintain calibration records.
Identify defects and initiate corrective actions.
Prepare quality reports and maintain ISO documentation.
Coordinate with vendors on quality issues.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
4 to 6 years of experience in Quality Control (machining industry).
Must have knowledge of incoming inspection, in-process inspection, MSA, and Profile Projector.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality tools (7 QC tools, FMEA).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
