Quality Engineer II

Your role will be with Constant Contact, a technology product company based in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States, and a leading provider of email marketing, social media marketing, event marketing, and online survey tools. Constant Contact supports over 0.5 million SMBs in strengthening customer relationships through intuitive marketing applications. In partnership with Aeries, Constant Contact has established a Global Technology Center (GTC) in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India, focusing on IT, Engineering, Customer Support, and General and Administrative functions. As a Quality Engineer II, your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and executing detailed test plans and strategies for billing system APIs. You will develop and conduct functional, regression, and performance tests for billing APIs, both manually and through automation. Collaboration with software engineers, product managers, and scrum teams will be essential to understand API requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating, enhancing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks for APIs, as well as reproducing, isolating, and debugging API issues efficiently. To excel in this role, you should possess strong experience in API testing, both manual and automated, along with proficiency in designing test strategies and automation frameworks. Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, API testing tools, and automation tools like Postman and RestAssured is required. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git, and strong debugging and problem-solving skills are also essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture, and knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
