Quality Control Inspector

Place of work: Indian subcontinent

In this challenging position, you will be mainly travelling to our suppliers in and around India to ensure, improve and manage the quality of our wide scope of products. The product range include glass, toys, textiles, kitchen- and tableware, candles and home-decoration. Our key suppliers are located in India (Panipat, Karur, Ahmedabad,…). Result-orientation, attention to detail as well as your reliable and ethical working style will help to continuously improve the quality performance of our suppliers and ultimately result in reduced product claims in our stores.

Your scope of responsibilities:

·    Organization & Execution of Quality Inspections

o On-site- & Online Product Inspections

o Approval of Shipments

o Supervising CAP (Corrective Action Plans)

o Inspection Planning

·    Ensuring EU-legal and XXXLutz-specific quality standards

·    Development of quality processes and -standards

·    Improving quality performance of suppliers, reducing claims

Your profile:

·

·      Ability to independently plan your own working schedule

·      Fluent in English

·      Analytical & result-oriented, Reliable with good work ethics

·      Good knowledge of the quality control processes

Knowledge of different production processes will be advantageous
