Job Titles Quality Control Inspector (Furniture) QC Supervisor / Manager Furniture Quality Assurance Technician Upholstery Quality Inspector Woodwork/Furniture Finishing Inspector Job Responsibilities Inspection Inspect raw materials (wood, fabric, metal, foam, etc.) Check in-process items on the production line. Conduct final inspections before packaging/shipping. Measurement & Testing Use measuring tools (calipers, gauges, tape, etc.) Test structural integrity, joints, finishes, and durability. Check alignment, dimensions, color matching, upholstery work. Documentation Maintain QC reports and records. Log defects and rework actions. Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, customer specs). Compliance Follow safety and environmental regulations. Ensure adherence to design blueprints and manufacturing specs. Feedback & Improvement Communicate defects to production teams. Suggest process improvements to reduce defects. Train workers on quality standards. Skills Required Attention to detail Knowledge of furniture materials and construction methods Familiarity with QC tools and processes Basic technical drawing interpretation Problem-solving and communication skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month Schedule: Fixed shift Morning shift Work Location: In person
