Quality control Engineer

You will be responsible for managing the review and quality control of design and construction drawings. Your primary focus will be to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and coordination of architectural and consultant drawings. To achieve this, you will need to conduct thorough reviews of architectural and engineering drawings, identifying and rectifying any missed elements, inconsistencies, or discrepancies. Utilizing QC checklists will be crucial in confirming the inclusion of all necessary design components and ensuring that all quality control criteria and project standards are consistently met. In addition to drawing reviews, you will also verify coordination among all disciplines, including Architectural, Structural, and MEPF drawings. This may involve employing overlay techniques or Building Information Modeling (BIM) to effectively detect and resolve clashes. To qualify for this position, you should have a degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in drawings review, quality control, and interdisciplinary coordination is essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software, and other relevant design tools is also required. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of construction standards and regulatory requirements will be beneficial in carrying out your responsibilities effectively.,
