Position: Quality Control Location: Chennai Experience: 5+ years Employment Type: Full-Time Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control specialist to join our data team. The ideal candidate will ensure that data collected, processed, and delivered meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy. This role will focus on identifying, analyzing, and resolving data discrepancies while ensuring that data is consistent, reliable, and compliant with internal standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Review, monitor, and validate data to ensure it meets quality standards and is accurate, consistent, and reliable. Implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure high-quality data outputs. Conduct regular data audits to identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies. Perform data testing to verify the integrity and completeness of datasets. Investigate and resolve data issues, working closely with relevant teams (e.g., data engineers, analysts) to ensure root causes are identified and corrected. Track and document quality control issues, providing detailed reports on findings and actions taken. Work with data engineers, analysts, and other team members to ensure data quality standards are maintained throughout the data lifecycle. Provide feedback to the team on data quality issues and suggest improvements for future processes. Identify opportunities to improve data quality procedures, processes, and tools. Suggest improvements to existing systems, ensuring ongoing quality improvements and efficiency. Maintain detailed records of quality checks, audit findings, and any corrective actions. Create and deliver regular reports on data quality metrics and KPIs to internal and client stakeholders. Qualifications: Proven experience in data quality control, data auditing, or a similar role. Strong understanding of data quality standards, processes, and best practices. Experience with data validation tools and techniques. Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and troubleshoot data issues efficiently. Strong communication skills to report issues, provide feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in data analysis and data management tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, data visualization tools). Preferred Skills: Experience working with large datasets and databases. Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards. Familiarity with data management platforms or tools.
