Quality Assurance Test Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the product by utilizing your skills in Python programming, automation testing using Selenium WebDriver/Robot Framework, SQL queries, and API Testing/Web Service. Your role will involve creating test plans and test cases, documenting and troubleshooting defects, and collaborating with the development and test engineering teams. Additionally, you will establish QA procedures and metrics, define test frameworks, roll out best practices for test engineering, and provide technical support throughout the project stages. Your problem-solving and troubleshooting skills will be crucial in guiding and resolving technical and personal issues within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Establish QA procedures and metrics to measure product quality - Act as a bridge between Development and Test Engineering teams - Define the test framework and architecture based on client requirements - Roll out Best Practices for Test Engineering to ensure optimal product testing solutions - Guide and assist in the resolution of technical and personal issues within the team - Provide technical support and maintain technical quality control at all project stages - Build efficient, self-driven, and motivated teams - Perform effective team and people management Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Python programming with a good understanding of program logic - Experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver/Robot Framework - Significant exposure and experience in SQL queries and Database Testing - Experience in API Testing/Web Service (WCF services, Web API) - Familiarity with Agile frameworks and methodologies - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Strong QA fundamentals - Knowledge of Cloud technologies (an added advantage) - Excellent team player and self-motivator,
