Quality Assurance (QA) Tester / Test Engineer

As a seasoned software tester with 5-10 years of experience and a BE / BSc educational qualification with not less than 60% marks, you will be responsible for preparing and executing test plans for applications under development. Your role will involve writing and reviewing all testing-related documents, identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects and issues, and performing various types of testing including functional, performance, security, and regression testing. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, will be essential to ensure that testing aligns with project goals and timelines. You will need to report test results and defects to the development team and other stakeholders, and work towards their resolution. Providing suggestions and feedback to enhance the quality of the software development process across teams will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Your expertise in manual testing, knowledge of testing methodologies such as unit testing, white box testing, and black box testing, along with proficiency in tools like Excel and Word will be crucial for this role. While experience in using automated testing tools like Load Runner is not mandatory, it will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with Windows and web technology products, SQL Server databases, and a commitment to quality are prerequisites.
