Quality Assurance (QA)

Job Description: As a Quality Assurance (QA) Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications developed by our team. Based at Sara Bhai Campus in Vadodara, this full-time position requires a minimum of 13 years of experience in the IT / Software Development industry, with a shift time from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Your role will involve creating test cases and scenarios, determining priority and severity of issues, conducting functional and non-functional testing, and demonstrating strong coordination skills. You will collaborate with the lines of business staff to coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that test scenarios align with business requirements. In addition to manual testing, you will be expected to perform thorough regression testing, document and track defects, and stay updated on new testing tools and strategies. Experience in automation testing will be considered a plus. You will play a key role in defining new tools for quality assessment and maintaining high standards of quality assurance. To qualify for this role, you should have 1-3 years of experience in manual testing, particularly with web-based applications. You must be proficient in developing, documenting, and implementing quality assurance standards, as well as possess a strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools. Basic knowledge of databases and the ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation are essential. You should also be adept at writing and modifying test cases based on requirements and demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
