Quality Assurance (Life Asia is must)

The QA role based in Hyderabad requires the application to have knowledge of Life400 or Life Asia. As a QA professional, your responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing. You will collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, identify test cases, and ensure software quality. Additionally, you will analyze software defects, identify root causes, and document issues clearly. Tracking test execution and defects using tools like Jira and Zephyr is essential. Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is part of your role. You will actively participate in continuous improvement processes, providing input to enhance testing strategies and processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve the overall user experience is crucial. Keeping up-to-date with software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices is necessary. You will also mentor junior testers and contribute to improving team capabilities and knowledge. In terms of qualifications, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field along with 6 years of hands-on experience in software testing, both manual and automated. Proficiency in test management tools like Jira and TestRail is required. Expertise in writing and executing test cases and scripts, as well as experience in automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar tools, is essential. Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript to develop automation scripts is preferred. A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), and defect tracking is expected. Previous experience in Life Asia or Life Insurance is a mandatory requirement for this role.,
